Further information is available in the IONOS privacy information at www.ionos.de/terms-gtc/terms-privacy.
4. Server log files
The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files transmitted by your browser. This may include:
- IP address of the requesting device,
- date and time of access,
- name and URL of the requested file,
- referrer URL,
- browser type and version,
- operating system used,
- hostname of the accessing device.
As a rule, we do not combine this data with other data sources. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically correct presentation, stability and security of the website.
Log data is deleted once it is no longer required for these purposes. Longer retention may occur if there are specific indications of unlawful use, an attack or another security incident.
5. SSL / TLS encryption
This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognise an encrypted connection in particular by the fact that the browser address begins with “https://”.
6. Cookies and comparable technologies
Our website uses cookies and comparable technologies. Cookies are small data records stored on your device or used to access information already stored there.
Technically necessary cookies and comparable technologies are used where required for the operation of the website, provision of functions expressly requested by you, website security or management of your consent decision. Storage or access is based on Section 25(2) TDDDG. Where personal data is processed, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Cookies and comparable technologies that are not technically necessary are used only after your prior consent. The legal bases are Section 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Details of the cookies, services, purposes and storage periods used on our website can be found in our separate Cookie Policy.
Consent management with Complianz
We use the WordPress plugin Complianz to manage and document your consent choices. Functional cookies may be stored for this purpose, for example to record your selection, the accepted policy version and the status of the cookie banner.
Processing is necessary to implement and document your consent decision. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(c) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and Section 25(2) TDDDG.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future using the consent-management function available on the website.
7. Contact
Contact form
If you contact us via a contact form, we process the data entered by you to handle your enquiry. This may include title, name, telephone number, email address, preferred contact method, type of enquiry, subject and message.
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to entering into or performing a contract. In all other cases, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where you have expressly consented to processing, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR also applies.
To prevent automated submissions, we use honeypot spam protection. Only technically necessary checking data is processed; no visible CAPTCHA is currently used.
Data submitted via the contact form is deleted once your enquiry has been conclusively processed and there are no statutory retention obligations, ongoing contractual relationships or other legitimate reasons for further storage.
Enquiries by email or telephone
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process your enquiry and the associated personal data for the purpose of handling your request.
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, it is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
8. Job applications
If you apply to us, we process the application data you submit for the purpose of conducting the application process. This may include contact and personal data, CV, certificates, qualification records, communications and other information supplied by you.
Processing is based on Section 26 BDSG and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Where special categories of personal data are processed, this takes place in accordance with the statutory requirements, in particular Art. 9(2)(b) GDPR.
If no employment relationship is established, application data is generally deleted no later than six months after completion of the application process, unless statutory retention duties, explicit consent to longer storage or legitimate reasons justify further retention.
9. Statistical analysis with WP Statistics
We use the WordPress analytics tool “WP Statistics” by VeronaLabs to statistically analyse the use of our website.
WP Statistics is configured by us in a data-minimising manner. IP addresses are anonymised and then protected by a non-reversible hashing process. Personal linking of page views with logged-in WordPress users is disabled. The full user-agent string is not stored. Statistical data is stored in our own WordPress database or on our own web server.
Data processed may include pages viewed, time of access, referrer, browser and operating-system information, region of origin, search engine used and other technical access data. In our current configuration, WP Statistics does not set its own tracking cookies.
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in data-minimised statistical analysis, technical monitoring and improvement of our website.
