KRINGS INGENIEURE XPERTEN is an owner-managed engineering and advisory company based in Heide. We support owners, investors and developers as an independent technical and commercial partner – from early project decisions through delivery.

Complex projects are not successful through good design alone. What matters is bringing technical, commercial and organisational questions together early and ensuring the client always has a robust basis for decision-making.
That is why we treat cost, schedule, risk, design, procurement and construction as one connected system. We coordinate stakeholders, challenge assumptions, make deviations visible and prepare decisions transparently.

Graduate Civil Engineer
Markus Krings has more than 35 years of experience in the construction industry. As a civil engineer, project leader, construction manager, managing director and entrepreneur, he knows construction projects from design, tendering, procurement, project management and delivery.
A particular focus of his experience is the refurbishment of protected and listed existing buildings. Around 3,000 apartments were refurbished in heritage buildings, especially in Leipzig. This is complemented by numerous new-build, conversion and existing-building projects across different uses and regions of Germany.
At KRINGS INGENIEURE XPERTEN, Markus Krings is particularly responsible for the technical and commercial assessment of projects, management of design and construction, and robust delivery and procurement strategies.
Managing Partner
Inga Krings combines project management, commercial organisation and the coordination of complex processes. Her focus is on bringing information, stakeholders and decisions together so that projects can be managed on the client side in a structured and transparent way.
At KRINGS INGENIEURE XPERTEN, she is particularly responsible for project management, organisation and communication, commercial and organisational project support, as well as web design and marketing. She coordinates internal and external stakeholders, structures tasks and prepares decision-making foundations.
Together with Markus Krings, she represents the personal, owner-managed responsibility of KRINGS INGENIEURE XPERTEN.

3,000 apartments + numerous other projects
Over roughly 20 years, we played a key role in the refurbishment of around 3,000 apartments in heritage buildings, particularly in Leipzig. In addition, numerous new-build, conversion and existing-building projects have been delivered across Germany.

Our company is based in Heide in Dithmarschen. From here, we support projects on the west coast, across Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg and northern Germany. Berlin, Frankfurt am Main and nationwide assignments also remain part of our project work.
Regional proximity means short distances, an understanding of local conditions and direct communication. Nationwide experience means being able to assess different markets, delivery models and construction tasks – from Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg to Berlin, Frankfurt am Main and other project locations across Germany.
Networks & Partnerships
Good projects are created through the interaction of different disciplines. We therefore maintain professional exchange with designers, specialist engineers, housing companies, contractors, universities and other project partners.
For us, networks are not an end in themselves. What matters is bringing the right specialists together for a specific task, recognising developments early and transferring knowledge into project work.
And Josef is, of course, part of the team too.
Josef regularly joins us in the office and has long been part of everyday life at KRINGS INGENIEURE XPERTEN. As our unofficial Feel Good Manager, he makes sure that, alongside the focus on costs, schedules and projects, the human side is never overlooked.
